02.24.2012 - Went on the 8 east about 20 miles outside of El Centro in hopes to get a better glimpse of the milky way. Found out we need to plan better and drive out to a place completely devoid of light pollution. Practiced some extended exposure shots, but realize now I need to do more homework to get it done right. Was a good learning experience and the night sky was breathtaking.
SHOESPLOSION!
The final piece of my project, shooting my friend Lester and his collection of sneakers. Getting the hang of shooting collections of stuff, mainly because I know what exact shots I’m going for. Thanks to Dave and Abe for assisting and mucho thanks to Lester for allowing me to photograph his many pairs of sneakers!
Just finished a majority of a shoot I did a month ago for The GoodOnes. This is my favorite shot of the entire set. Still a little bothered by the guy’s arm position though.

Color Equivalents
A project for my photography class based on the works of Martin Parr. Essentially it was to photograph anything and everything purely for their color and then pairing them with similar colors and in a way that both images together say something that they do not when alone.
The colors help to unify that message and tie them together. Thanks to this assignment I now have something to do with all the random photos that I’ve taken over the years because I either liked its color/shape or just saw something cool in them.
A Tree made of Keys and A Seahorse Sculpture made of soldered wire, paper, plasma globes and a helluva lot of christmas lights by Sean Sobczak. Just some of things I saw while wandering around LA with my cousin.
